DIY Cottages

Project description

This project was conceived with budget limitations and the aim to re-fresh the existing farm cottages with a light and sensible intervention.

Our design illuminates the internal spaces exploiting the original French windows and using a lighter palette of colours and materials.

The original buildings are adapted to a contemporary country environment with simple style choices and a playful, DIY approach.

The landscaping is a tool to expand our approach externally, creating pergolas and rope screens where climbing plants can thrive.
